Less than two weeks away!

Thanks to the Statesboro Regional Library for allowing our guild to set up a display case with information on the quilt show. A group from the guild set it up yesterday and it looks really great.

More than 160 of the 200 quilts will be judged, with recognition in 13 different categories, including pieced, applique, mixed technique and art quilts. There are separate subcategories for quilts quilted by others, including longarm quilting, and those quilted by the quiltmaker.

The show will be judged by nationally known quilter Jean Ann Wright. The former editor of "Quilt" magazine currently edits "The Quilting Quarterly," the journal of the National Quilting Association, and has taught classes and judged shows around the world. Her quilts have appeared on the covers ot "The Quilter" and "Quilter's World" magazines.
